After he had spent some years at the Tosho-Ji Monastery in Japan, the Dharma was passed on to Master Tetsugen, qualifying him as a Zen Master of the Soto Zen lineage. In 1988, he inaugurated "Enso-Ji", the first Zen monastery in Milan (Italy). In 1990, he founded the Zen Shiatsu School and Treatment Center. The Zen Mountain Monastery "Sanbo-Ji" (Temple of the Three Treasures) opened its doors in 1996. Always within the bounds of the Zen tradition, these four foundations, along with the affiliated centers in Italy and Spain, foster growth and change by means of simple and efficient practice programs. The Zen Monastery Il Cerchio is a religious association for the practice and study of Soto Zen Buddhism. It is affiliated, together with the Sanbo-Ji Monastery, to both the U.B.I. (Unione Buddhista Italiana) and the E.B.U. (European Buddhist Union). Tranlsation by: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it |
